Hello, I'm Nancy Rahnama, MD
My approach to health combines nutrition, lifestyle and cutting-edge science.
Before I became an expert in obesity medicine and clinical nutrition, I learned that food can solve many physical problems.
Growing up, I watched my mother create a nutritional lifestyle that enabled my father to live an extra 30 years as he battled heart disease. This experience fueled both my passion for medicine and my view of nutrition as a gateway to health and well-being.
These passions grew during my training in medicine, as I learned how to teach proper lifestyle modification and performed clinical research into the behavior of foods within our bodies.
Combining the approaches of Eastern and Western medicine has allowed me to help many people achieve health goals they believed to be out of reach.
Today, these experiences are integrated into the products, programs, and information you find here. My goal here is simple: to empower you to live your best life and achieve optimal, sustainable health through nutrition.
